Native to Portland, Oregon, I am currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, with a minor in computer science. I am employed as an IT consultant by the College of Engineering, and I also do freelance software and website development in my spare time. I am also a community moderator for Super User, an Q&A site about computer software and hardware.

I am quite busy with my studies, but outside of school enjoy outdoor activities like dragonboat paddling, skiing, backpacking, photography and running. I also teach computer lessons, enjoy writing and photography, and am involved in student organizations such as our AIChE chapter and am president of the Sustainable Energy Initiative group on campus.
